#TheCollective: GCW – EFFY’s Big Gay Brunch (10/10/20)

EFFY's Big Gay Brunch

As we draw nearer to The Collective, let’s take a look at one of the gayest events in pro wrestling. And I do mean that quite literally as GCW presents EFFY’s Big Gay Brunch! There will be some not-so-serious stuff but all of the matches are sure to be seriously good. Also making an appearance at EFFY’s Big Gay Brunch is Cranberry

Twink Gauntlet Match
Juicy Jimmy vs. Parrow vs. Jimmy Lloyd vs. Calvin Couture vs. Devon Monroe vs. Molly McCoy vs. Logan Stunt vs. Tyler Klein vs. Dyln McKay

First, up for EFFY’s Big Gay Brunch is the Twink Gauntlet Match. Now a couple of these individuals definitely aren’t twinks, like Parrow and Juicy Jimmy, however they’re here to vie for success as well. Black Sexcellence Devon Monroe will be looking to make a big splash in his second gauntlet appearance, as will Logan Stunt and Jimmy Lloyd. Molly McCoy will also be making her debut in the gauntlet, as will the aforementioned Stunt, Lloyd, Dyln McKay, Tyler Klein and Calvin Couture

Team Sea Stars (Ashley Vox & Delmi Exo) vs. AC Mack & Ashton Starr

Also at EFFY’s Big Gay Brunch will be some seriously good tag team action. AC Mack, Mack of All Trades will be teaming with Starrfire Ashton Starr as Atlanta’s Bad B*tch Assassins! Both of them are tremendous athletes based out of the Atlanta area and trained at the WWA4 wrestling school. Mack brings the power while Starr brings finesse and sass. They will take on the sister duo of Ashley Vox and Delmi Exo, Team Sea Stars. On paper, Vox and Exo would appear to be at a disadvantage against much bigger opponents. However, their heart and drive have pushed them to victory against big challenges in the past, like Ortiz and Santana of All Elite Wrestling. It should definitely be a great match and a gay ol’ time!

Allie Kat vs. Jamie Senegal

At EFFY’s Big Gay Brunch, two queens will enter but only one queen will strut out victorious. In this first-time-ever match, the Punk Rock Kween Jamie Senegal will take on the baddest cat on the planet, Allie Kat. Jamie hasn’t been able to wrestle as much since wrestling returned from the pandemic, but she’s always ready for a fight. Allie Kat has been busy, working routinely for Beyond Wrestling and GCW. The claws will be out as they both don’t mind scrapping for the victory.

The Second Gear Crew (1 Called Manders, AJ Gray, Mance Warner & Matthew Justice) vs. Billy Dixon, Joshua Wavra, MV Young & O’Shay Edwards

Now while many of the matches discussed so far have an element of fun to them, a bit of tongue in cheek edge, this one is personal. The group of wrestlers known as the Second Gear Crew will be coming to EFFY’s Big Gay Brunch. And while they are big, they’re also not members of the LGBT community like the rest featured in this show. AJ Gray, Mance Warner, Matthew Justice, and 1 Called Manders will saddle up to take on four of the toughest LGBT stars on the scene. Leader of the Poly-Am Cult, supported by over 10,000 romantic partners, MV Young laid down the gauntlet on social media ahead of this brawl.

On the biggest, gayest stage of them all, MV Young will join forces with Billy Dixon, O’Shay Edwards, and Joshua Wavra. These are not delicate, feminine, easily disposed of individuals. They are survivors who are here to show that LGBT athletes can be badass and tough. Only one crew will have their hands raised when the carnage clears, which you can watch live on FITE.TV.

Cassandro El Exotico vs. Sonny Kiss

The legend that is Cassandro El Exotico will be sashaying into EFFY’s Big Gay Brunch to take on a legend in the making, the Concrete Rose, Sonny Kiss. Cassandro is a native of El Paso, Texas, and very well known in the lucha libre scene. As is often the case in professional wrestling, it hasn’t always been glitter and glamour for the well-traveled wrestler. His story was brought to life on screen in the documentary Cassandro the Exotico! by Marie Losier. It shows that beneath the makeup and sequins is a very strong man with a deep and abiding love for the art of pro wrestling.

Sonny Kiss also comes with a story of blossoming through adversity, having worked his way up to AEW. Kiss, like Cassandro, has never let the negative forces of the world bring down his spirit. Now as they will craft their dance together, the past, present, and future will shine brightly together.

Dark Sheik vs. Still Life With Apricots And Pears

The Dark Sheik will be making their way in from California to take on the masterpiece that is Still Life with Apricots and Pears. Sheik is a mainstay for Hoodslam and Wrestling Pro Wrestling based in Southern California. They’re also the current WPW Midcard Champion. Having faced off against both men and women in the past, Dark Sheik can handle just about anything. Still Life is an enigma though, as they are equal parts art and artist. They are no stranger to glory or to defeat, and are difficult to predict what they will do. What it will be though, is a must-see encounter at EFFY’s Big Gay Brunch.

Too Hot for TV Match
EFFY vs. Priscilla Kelly

This match is going to be talked about not only because it involves both EFFY and Priscilla Kelly, but because it will be too hot for TV. What does that exactly mean? It could honestly be anything with these two. EFFY has been a man on fire lately, performing well in the recent Turbo Graps 16 tournament and making his debut for the United Wrestling Network Primetime Live show. Priscilla lives up to her nickname of Hell’s Favorite Harlot and is also as a wrestler, not someone to take lightly. It could be a light-hearted and fun match and it could be serious, hell it could even be both.

Also as part of EFFY’s Big Gay Brunch, there will be a live drag performance!!

EFFY’s Big Gay Brunch will take place at Marion County Fairgrounds in Indianapolis, Indiana, on October 10th, 2020. For those that are unable to attend live, the show will air live on FITE.TV. You can purchase the show individually or all of the shows part of The Collective as a package.
