One of the hottest storyline’s in IMPACT Wrestling will officially come to a head at Bound For Glory as it was announced last night during IMPACT! On AXS TV that Rich Swann will challenge Eric Young for his IMPACT World Championship at the biggest event on the IMPACT calendar.

This story goes all the way back to Slammiversary when Young made his return to the company.  On the same night, Rich Swann made his return from injury in shocking fashion.  Swann went on to eliminate Young from the match which caused the “world class maniac” to snap as he assaulted Swann re-injuring him in the process.

The next time we saw Rich Swann he announced his retirement as the injuries he had suffered were too bad for him to come back again.  After the incredibly emotional moment with Swann, Young attacked again adding further insult to injury.

Eric Young would go on to capture the IMPACT World Championship and this has not sat well with Swann.  This week on IMPACT! Swann demanded a fight with Young so he could take the world championship away from the man who has heinously attacked him a number of times.  After some initial hesitation from Scott D’amore the match was made and at Bound For Glory we will have Rich Swann get his chance at revenge when he takes on Eric Young with the IMPACT World Championship on the line
