Tay Conti Is All Elite

Tay Conti

AEW has announced the signing of former NXT superstar Tay Conti.  They have also announced that she will be on AEW Dynamite this week as she will face former AEW Women’s World Champion Nyla Rose.

Conti made her AEW debut as part of the AEW Women’s Tag Team Cup Tournament The Deadly Draw where she teamed with Anna Jay.  The duo were one of the more impressive teams in the competition with Tay Conti especially showing a lot of potential with her striking game standing out as especially good.

In a recent AEW segement it appeared that The Dark Order, who Anna Jay is a member of, offered Conti a spot in their group leading many to believe that we would see her used long term by AEW.  It is now official that she has indeed signed with AEW although we don’t know if she accepted the Dark Order’s offer.

With Conti now signed the match with Rose is quite unpredictable as the new girl takes on the former champion with the Dark Order looming in the background.

Programming note: The September 16th episode of AEW Dynamite will air on September 17th instead due to TNT airing the NBA playoffs. Make sure to set your DVR in order not to miss any of the action!
