Preview: WWE – Monday Night RAW (8/3/20)

Monday Night RAW

Following on from an emotional episode last week this edition of Monday Night RAW will feature Asuka seeking vengeance on Bayley and Sasha Banks for their career-ending attack on Kairi Sane.  We will also see Apollo look for vengeance against MVP on a night full of grudges looking to be settled.  Let’s get into the card for Monday Night RAW

United States Championship: Apollo (C) vs MVP

MVP and co. declared him the new United States Champion many weeks ago.  Crews was unable to fight at The Horror Show At Extreme Rules but now he is back and ready to fight and prove that he is still the US Champion.  MVP has backup in Lashley and Shelton Benjamin that could swing the tide in his favor.

Shane McMahon Returns

With WWE’s viewership dipping they have brought in the big guns as Shane O’Mac makes his return to Monday Night RAW.  What will McMahon be up to and does it involve a possible SummerSlam match?

A New Faction Debuts

Rumblings at the PC are that a group are set to make their presence felt on Raw to cause some chaos and shake the companies foundations to its core.  Who are this group and what to they want?

Drew McIntyre Out For Retribution

Following his win over Dolph Ziggler last week on Monday Night RAW McIntyre was hit with an RKO by Randy Orton.  Earlier in that episode Orton had made his intention clear that he wanted McIntyre’s championship and to end the night hs threw the first strike.  McIntyre has never been one to take things lightly and you know he’ll be out for a fight with “the viper”.

Asuka Looks For Revenge

Last week on raw Sasha Banks became the new Raw Women’s Champion by defeating Asuka via countout.  The manner in which she did so has put her and Bayley in harm’s way as Bayley heinously attacked Kairi Sane backstage and seemingly ended her career.  Asuka chose to help her friend over retaining her championship but it wasn’t enough as Sane has now bid farewell to the WWE.  Asuka was seen last week after visiting Sane and she was obviously emotional and very, very angry.  Banks and Bayley may have just unleashed a monster that they cannot deal with.
