The Deadly Draw kicks off tonight on AEW’s YouTube channel and we now have our first official match as Taynara Conti (Now going by Tay Conti) makes her AEW debut to team with Anna Jay against the team of the also debuting Ariane Andrew and Nyla Rose.
Conti was released from the WWE as part of their controversial mass release many months ago and now resurfaces as a surprise entrant in the Deadly Draw tournament. She teams with Dark Order member the inexperienced Anna Jay.
They face the team that fans saw formed on AEW Dynamite of former AEW Women’s Champion Nyla Rose and former WWE superstar Ariane Andrew (f.k.a Cameron). Andrew had been training for a return to wrestling having been announced for Effy’s Big Gay Brunch at WrestleMania weekend but that show was cancelled. She will now make her return as part of the Deadly Draw in a match that the two will likely win as Rose has enough pedigree to make it through a few rounds of this tournament.
The Deadly Draw tournament will take place on Monday every week on AEW’s YouTube Channel with all the action kicking off tonight at 7 pm eastern/6 pm central.
