Press Release: New Wave Pro Announces Higher Ground for July 26

Higher Ground

New Wave Pro returns to action on Sunday, July 26th with Higher Ground. The Terre Haute, Indiana, promotion is presenting its first live event since Steel City Madness all the way back in March 2020.

The show stands to be one of the most ambitious in the company’s decade-long history. Sunday’s Higher Ground event will be available via Video On Demand on IWTV shortly after July 26th. A number of the company’s previous shows are also currently available on the popular streaming service.

Stars such as New Wave Pro Champion Sam Knight, Justin Kyle, Cole Radrick, and Shiloh Greaves will be leading the charge as New Wave Pro returns to its old Arena home for the first time since 2019. In the interim, New Wave Pro moved to the Terre Haute National Guard Armory, where it enjoyed successive sell-out crowds before the pandemic forced wrestling to shut down entirely.

Now, with a new team at the helm, the company is harking back to its roots, and it wants Higher Ground to take independent wrestling to higher places. The Higher Ground concept aims to bring back the story-rich, crash-bang-wallop wrestling that made us all fans in the first place. With an emphasis on narrative as well as action, Higher Ground will offer memorable moments, high quality and an emphasis on young talent on the verge of breaking out.

There is a mix of matches already confirmed and other talent who will be there without an assigned match, meaning anything could happen at Higher Ground. Confirmed matches are:

Cole Radrick vs Shiloh Greaves

Aaron Atlas (c) vs Colt Storm – Ultra Rapid Championship match

Miles Morales vs Nate Matthews

As well as Sam Knight and Justin Kyle, other talent confirmed to appear at Higher Ground include: New Wave Pro Crossroads Champion Percy Davis, Paragon, The Original Sins, and Tanner Keeler.

It is also important to note that New Wave Pro will be taking strict safety measures in regards to COVID-19 to ensure the show is safe and fun for audience, staff and wrestlers.

Masks are compulsory / Social distancing seating in effect / Temp checks taken upon entry / Sanitizing stations set up / Ring cleaned after every bout.

All tickets are only $10. With audience attendance capped at 100, there are only a few left: https://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/4622653

New Wave Pro will return to the Terre Haute National Guard Armory on Saturday, September 12th, for New Beginnings.
