Aleah James Joins Schadenfreude Management Team

With the rash of allegations of sexual misconduct rampant in the pro wrestling industry over the past week during the #SpeakingOut movement, many promotions have been quick to add more women in positions of authority in their organization. On Monday, Schadenfreude & Friends, the promotion started by Chris Brookes, Kid Lykos, Kyle Fletcher, and Mark Davis in 2019 and based out of Manchester, England, has announced that UK indie wrestler Aleah James has joined the company’s organizational team.

The company also stated that they “appreciate presently it’s a male-exclusive outfit and we want to rectify that and open up a broader view/input into all decisions and practices and also more options for anyone to reach out to should they have any concerns with regards to safety.”

Aleah James has been a rising star on the UK indie scene for the past year, making her Schadenfreude debut this past November at Schadenfreude & Friends 3: Schadenfreude Survival Program, where she faced Chris Brookes. A student from the London School Of Lucha Libre, Aleah James has become of the most exciting new stars in the UK indie scene at the age of only 22 years old.
