Preview: Monday Night RAW (5/4/20)

Monday Night RAW

This week’s Monday Night RAW serves as the go-home show for the Money In The Bank event.  On tap for the show is a clash between the RAW Tag Team Champions the Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) and the Viking Raiders (Ivar & Erik) as well as a final chance to qualify for the men’s money in the bank match and the WWE Champion Drew McIntyre taking on Murphy the disciple of his Money In The Bank opponent Seth Rollins.

Last Chance Gauntlet

Originally Apollo Crews was scheduled to take part in the men’s money in the bank ladder match.  Last week at the hands of Andrade he suffered an injury that caused a referee stoppage to the match.  Crews is now unable to compete in the match and so on this week’s Monday Night RAW there will be a gauntlet match, with the competitors currently unknown, to earn a chance to compete in the Money In The Bank ladder match.

Street Profits vs Viking Raiders

These two teams fought alongside one another for months as they combined forces to take on Seth Rollins and his disciples.  The Street Profits would win the RAW Tag Team Championships from Rollins and Murphy who in turn had won them from the Raiders.  The Raiders reminded us that the Profits never beat them and so this match was set as two of the top tag teams on RAW collide.

Drew McIntyre vs Murphy W/Seth Rollins

Monday Night RAW

At the Money In The Bank event McIntyre will defend his WWE Championship against Seth Rollins.  Before that, he must take on Rollins’ last remaining disciple Murphy, there was some tension shown last week between Rollins and Murphy and one wonders if that tension will blow over here.

Not Announced But Expected

– Follow up on Jinder Mahal following his return

– What’s next for Liv Morgan following two wins over Ruby Riott

– Are Lana and Lashley on again or off again

– Final Build for both Money In The Bank matches
