Indie Star Christi Jaynes Makes AEW Debut

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) continues to bring in new talent for their burgeoning women’s division and on Tuesday night’s AEW Dark, another international talent made their debut. Originally from Brazil, Christi Jaynes learned her craft in the Texas indie circuit.

Indie Star Christi Jaynes Makes AEW Debut

Christi Jaynes made her entry into the Texas indies in 2016, working with the likes of Anarchy Championship Wrestling (ACW), WrestleCircus, and others, before taking her skills around the world. She began working with Stardom in Japan for a tour, as well as heading to Mexico to work for The Crash Lucha and to the UK to work for IPW, Southside Wrestling Entertainment (SWE) and Preston City Wrestling (PCW).

In January of 2020, she made her debut with IMPACT Wrestling at Bash at the Brewery 2, where she faced off against Keira Hogan. On Tuesday’s episode of AEW Dark, taped last week in Austin, Texas, Jaynes faced off against recent AEW signee, Big Swole.
