Killer Kross & Timothy Thatcher Officially Sign With WWE

WWE

In a busy day of professional wrestling, anything can happen. And that holds true today, as hinted at by Casey Michael from Squared Circle Sirens and confirmed by Ryan Satin on “WWE Backstage”, the hottest free agent in pro wrestling, Killer Kross, and former EVOLVE Champion, Timothy Thatcher, have officially signed with the WWE.

Thatcher, 36, was caught in a few photos on Tuesday as he had arrived to the WWE Performance Center. Kross, 34, on the other hand, has been long rumored to be making his jump to the biggest wrestling company in the world since he was released from his IMPACT Wrestling contract at the end of 2019.

Thatcher, as Satin reported on “WWE Backstage”, is an original member of Imperium alongside WALTER and Marcel Bartel. He has competed all over the globe, including wXw, PROGRESS, Major League Wrestling (MLW), and APW. The gritty Thatcher is sure to make waves when he steps into NXT, as no one will want to mess with him as soon as day one. He was highly sought out by NXT general manager William Regal and has declined offers in the past.

On the other side of this monster announcement is Killer Kross. He has been linked to all the top companies in wrestling, most specifically WWE and All Elite Wrestling. He has clearly made the big decision, and if reports are to be believed, he could be skyrocketed to the top very quickly. Kross has most notably competed in Lucha Libre AAA, Lucha Underground, IMPACT Wrestling, and most recently MLW. The ideas are endless for one of the most creative guys in wrestling.

Kross’ better half, WWE-signed Scarlett Bordeaux, had this to say:

It’s hard to believe that these two won’t be together on screen, as the “Smokeshow” and the Kross can make for a perfect, deadly combo on NXT, Raw, or SmackDown.

NXT has also officially reported the news for both Thatcher and Kross. Both have reported to the Performance Center.

NXT and the WWE continue to grow at a rapid pace, but this is two of the biggest signings in sometime when it comes to the men’s side of things. Within the last few months alone, they have added Kross, Thatcher, and Mercedes Martinez.

As we sit here right now, who knows what the future holds for these two. One can imagine plenty of success and pure entertainment for everyone at home.

Kross is already letting the world know that the clock is ticking.

It is also being reported by Squared Circle Sirens that Aja Perera has joined, speculation is that she may become a referee.
