Breaking: Hazuki Announces Her Retirement

Hazuki

Oedo Tai member and former High Speed Champion Hazuki has announced that she will retire at Stardom Year End Climax on December 24th.  The announcement comes as a shock and continues a tumultuous two days for Oedo Tai.

The twenty-two-year-old debuted for Stardom back in 2014 as Reo Hazuki.  She wouldn’t find much success until 2017 as a part of Queen’s Quest now known as HZK she would capture the Artist Of Stardom championships four times that year.

It would be as a member of Oedo Tai though where Hazuki really came into her own as she captured the Stardom High Speed championship in 2018 and would go on a fantastic seven month run with the title as she knocked away multiple challengers like Starlight Kid, AZM and Saki Kashima.

2019 would also be the year she had great title challenges for the World Of Stardom and Wonder Of Stardom championships that put her on the map as a potential star.

Stardom loses one of its biggest potential stars with Hazuki’s retirement and Oedo Tai loses another name, having just lost Andras Miyagi.  The future of Oedo Tai will be interesting to follow going forward but the one thing we know for sure is that Hazuki will be a big loss to Stardom.
