BREAKING: ICW To Unite With Wrestling Experience Scotland

ICW

In an official announcement made just moments ago on the evening of Wednesday, November 6th, Insane Championship Wrestling (ICW) announced their unison with Wrestling Experience Scotland (WXS) to promote family-friendly events across Scotland, something very different to the usual over-18s ICW vibe.

The official press release reads;

“Insane Championship Wrestling (ICW) today announced the launch of its new brand aimed at families as it unites with Wrestling Experience Scotland (WXS). WXS has operated successfully throughout Scotland over the last three years and has always maintained close ties to ICW and its performers. The unprecedented expansion is a result of both parties identifying an invaluable opportunity to bridge the gap between ICW’s established brand and WXS’ reputation for producing a high-quality in-ring product for family audiences. The move will allow ICW to bring a professional, family-friendly wrestling production to venues across Scotland under the WXS banner.”

ICW owner and founder Mark Dallas had the following to say on the announcement – “I am incredibly excited for this new venture and am honoured to welcome WXS to the ICW family. Fans of all ages will finally get the chance to enjoy an ICW-level production that is suitable for the entire family when we bring new, one of a kind shows to venues across Scotland in the new year.”

Andrew Wason, who also performs on shows under the alias of RUDO Lightning, will serve as the brand’s Operations Manager, while also remaining a Backstage Producer for ICW. For media purposes, direct all enquiries to Thomas Kearins via [email protected].

The first three shows under the new combined brand will take place on Saturday, February 15th at the Reconnect Regal Theatre in Bathgate, Saturday, March 21st at the Citadel Leisure Centre in Ayr, and Saturday, April 25th at the Community Central Halls in Maryhill. Tickets for these shows will go on sale on Friday, November 22nd via Ticketmaster, with Grado, Jack Jester, BT Gunn, Jackie Polo, and Stevie Boy all confirmed for these shows.
