Stardom 5STAR Grand Prix Final: Hana Kimura Def. Konami

Some Thoughts

Andras Miyagi finishes with one of the worst records in her block, not what many would have predicted but Stardom has placed her firmly in the midcard.

AZM is definitely the breakout star of the tournament.  Going into the final day she was tied with the likes of Momo Watanabe, Mayu Iwatani and Hana Kimura.  Add to that her fantastic performances and she stepped up huge

Tam also overperformed points-wise and got some big wins in the tournament.  STARS came out of the tournament looking strong

2019 is the year of TCS and the elevation of Konami.  TCS since their formation have captured two titles and Hana adds the 5STAR GP crown to their list of accolades.

Konami comes up short again though,  I really hope they don’t make her the new Jungle Kyona i.e always the bridesmaid but never the bride.

What on earth is that Bea/Jamie team?  A member of Queen’s Quest should NEVER team with an Oedo Tai member.  I understand they need something for Jamie to do while in Japan but unless this ends in a turn it’s just further proof that Oedo Tai isn’t what it once was.
