World Wrestling Council celebrated the company’s 46th Anniversary in a show headlined by WWE Superstar Epico facing “The Precious One” Gilbert for the top title in the company.
In a surprising result, Epico got the win and became the new WWC Universal champion. WWC was famously the stomping ground of the legendary Carlos Colon and has been somewhere that the family has been big draws for decades. Epico Colon becomes the latest member of the Colon family to reach the top of the company.
It was a night of change for WWC as the company crowned two new champions, Epico and Bellito, and they debuted a new logo and new title belts. The question was asked back when WWC sold WWE it’s tape library what that might mean for the company and it now looks like they get Epico as their champion in return. It’s also rumored that Primo is becoming more involved with the company backstage.
