Not Kayfabe News: Teddy Hart To Host Reading Rainbow Segment Over WrestleMania Weekend

Ok, so it’s not a taping of the beloved children’s storytelling television show Reading Rainbow, that aired from 1983 to 2006 and was hosted by LeVar Burton of Star Trek fame. But it’s very close. Everyone has been wondering what Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) would have in mind for their newly announced event over WrestleMania weekend, entitled Orange Cassidy is Doing Something, or Whatever, Who Knows??? The last-minute event replaces NOVA Pro‘s Born to Run event. While the first confirmed a prior NOVA Pro booking of Jonathan Gresham vs. Japanese legend Shinjiro Otani, they announced the next item for the card and it’s amazing. Teddy Hart will be hosting a Reading Rainbow segment in the ring.

Teddy Hart has been on a huge comeback since early 2018, thanks largely in part to GCW and Joey Janela, with a plethora of top indie show bookings and a regular TV gig on Major League Wrestling (MLW), where he leads a new Hart Foundation with cousin Davey Boy Smith Jr. and Brian Pillman Jr. Hart is a double champion in MLW, holding both the MLW Middleweight Championship and MLW World Tag Team titles.

But Teddy won’t be alone for his squared circle storytime – he’ll be joined by two of his famous felines, Mr. Velvet and Caspian. And while GCW confirmed with us that Teddy Hart will indeed be reading stories to the audience, as for what the rest of Reading Rainbow with GCW, you’ll have to attend (or tune in on Fite.tv) to see what else happens.
