Earlier this week, we reported that a local add in Jonesboro, Arkansas was promoting a “special attraction” intergender match between Dean Ambrose and Nia Jax, but it appears the WWE has decided against the match after all. John Pollock of POST Wrestling (formerly LAW Radio) is reporting that the WWE has since reached out him since the original news broke and that “the ad was outdated, and the match would not be happening.”

So it appears that the return to possible intergender matches in the WWE will be put on hold once again.
