Las Vegas, Nevada’s Killer Kross has risen from near obscurity in the national wrestling scene into arguably IMPACT Wrestling‘s most intriguing character in a relatively short time. Debuting in 2014, in less than five years, he’s challenging Johnny Impact (John Morrison) for the IMPACT World Championship and is linked to “heading to WWE rumors” on a weekly basis.
Kevin “Killer” Kross made his debut in professional wrestling for his hometown Future Stars of Wrestling (FSW) in 2014 and a year later, the 6’4″, 250 lb. monster was the FSW Heavyweight Champion. He would go on to hold the FSW title for over a year, 421 days, winning the title from current IMPACT World title hopeful Brian Cage.
In 2015, he wrestled a dark match at a Lucha Underground taping, defeating Vinny Massaro, and would continue to work dark matches for LU through the Season 2 tapings, but failed to debut with the company, although, he found work with one of Lucha Underground’s partners, AAA in Mexico, where he would head to in 2017. In AAA, he made his debut in April of 2017, ironically aiding Johnny Impact and Taya Valkyrie in a trios match against Argenis, Ayako Hamada and El Hijo del Fantasma (LU’s King Cuerno).

Last year, Kross became the enforcer for a new stable, MAD, originally debuting in Promociones MDA and lead by Konnan, and featuring Juventud Guerrera, Teddy Hart, Jack Evans, El Zorro, Sexy Star, and El Divo, before they invaded AAA the same year. He also became a featured star with California’s Maverick Pro Wrestling (MPW) and worked with Bar Wrestling and House of Hardcore, all while continuing to work for FSW, and debut with three televised wrestling promotions – first with IMPACT Wrestling in June of 2018, followed by Ring Warriors, and then finally with Lucha Underground as the White Rabbit in Paul London’s Rabbit Tribe.

Now, barely five years into the pro wrestling business, Killer Kross’ spine chilling promos, old school violent ring style, and anti-hero charisma has made him one of IMPACT’s most engaging characters – “Kill Kross, Kill” is becoming a regular chant at IMPACT tapings. By all indications, 2019 could be the year of the Killer, as Kevin Kross becomes the disgusted force of vindication that the world deserves, taking every piece of gold his black heart is distracted by.
