NXT UK has been taping in Liverpool on the 24th and 25th of November. We have all the results, news on debuts and will have the confirmed card for NXT UK Takeover: Blackpool.
Night 1: November 24
The night starts with the announcement of the FIRST EVER Takeover special for the NXT UK brand. It will be live on the network from the Empress Ballroom in Blackpool, which usually holds 3,000 people.
Toni Storm vs Rhea Ripley is made official for TakeOver, word is that she earned the shot by winning the Mae Young Classic
Dark?: Xia Brookside defeats Nina Samuels
First official match of the night sees Jordan Devlin defeat Kenny Williams who was accompanied by Amir Jordan.
Eddie Dennis defeated Dan Moloney by DQ after Dave Mastiff came out to brawl with Dennis. This hoss feud should be fun as Mastiff has been built up quite well so far.
T-Bone & Saxon Huxley defeated Tucker & Jack Starz. Huxley has gone from teaming with Joseph Connors to T-Bone as NXT UK continues to try out pairings. Starz has regularly been used this year as a jobber but is most known to fans as a regular for Kamikaze Pro
The Scottish Strong Style trio of Wolfgang, Joe Coffey & Mark Coffey are now known as Gallus. Gallus is Scottish slang for a troublemaker.
Joe Coffey defeated El Ligero. Ligero, like Tucker, is a fall guy but gets a good match out of his opponents
Marcel Barthel (formerly Axel Dieter Junior) defeats Mark Andrews. EVOLVE champion Fabian Aichner interfered to help Barthel get the win as they join forces.
Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson & James Drake) beat Wild Boar and Primate. Primate makes his debut not long after his return from retirement following a jaw injury. Gibson and Drake are former PROGRESS tag team champions so I would expect them to have a big push here.
Josh Morrell known as “Turbo” Josh Terry on the indies comes out to face Mastiff. He never makes it to the ring as Eddie Dennis attacks him. Morrell was recently on 205 Live when he Jobbed to Lio Rush
Rhea Ripley defeats Deonna Purrazo to retain the NXT UK Women’s Championship. Post-match she continues to attack Purrazo until Toni Storm makes the save.
Travis Banks made easy work of Jamie Ahmed. Ahmed is a 15-year veteran mostly known as Screwface Ahmed on the indies. He is a regular competitor for All-Star Wrestling. Irish Ace Jordan Devlin comes out to cut a promo on Banks
The new pairing of Aichner and Barthel defeat Kenny Williams and Amir Jordan
Jinny defeated Candyfloss. Candyfloss made her debut for NXT UK at an older taping to face Rhea Ripley, she has confirmed that she is unsigned but seems to be a regular enhancement talent for the brand
Moustache Mountain (Trent Seven & Tyler Bate) defeated Gallus (Wolfgang & Mark Coffey) and will fight for the tag team titles at TakeOver: Blackpool. Joe Coffey and Pete Dunne got involved as British Strong Style stand tall.

Day 2: November 25
Dark?: Primate Defeats Jack Starz
Toni Storm defeats Deonna Purrazzo. Ripley came out during the match to play some mind games
Wild Boar Defeats Josh Morrell.
Dave Mastiff vs Eddie Dennis ends in double DQ. Johnny Saint comes out to make Dennis vs Mastiff official for Takeover in a No DQ matchup
A contract signing between Pete Dunne and Joe Coffey ends with Dunne getting powerbombed through a table because a contract signing can never end without table violence.
Kenny Williams & Amir Jordan defeat Moloney & Ahmed. Presumably an easy win for the two regulars
Isla Dawn defeated Xia Brookside
Gallus are here to cut a promo in the ring who according to Twitter have a banger of an entrance theme. Can’t wait to hear it in three months when this taping airs.
“Irish Ace” Jorda Devlin defeats Damian Weir. Weir has been used as enhancement talent before on NXT UK. He is known on the indies as Chief Deputy Dunne of the Anti Fun Police alongside Los Federales Santos Jr.
Travis Banks wants a match with Jordan Devlin, Devlin doesn’t want a match with Banks though and leaves.
Grizzled Young Veterans defeat Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster. GYV join Moustache Mountain in the tag team championship match at Takeover.
El Ligero defeats Joseph Connors. Former Southside Wrestling Entertainment tag team champions collide as El Ligero gets a win.
Travis Banks defeats T-Bone. Jordan Devlin tried to interfere but Banks won regardless. They brawl and Banks stands tall.
Gallus defeat British Strong Style. Our main event for the night sees the heels go over to build to Coffey vs Dunne
