Justice Delivered: The Real Jackie Polo Is Back in ICW

On a recent ICW Fight Club episode, current Insane Championship Wrestling (ICW) World Heavyweight Champion Jackie Polo assaulted Lionheart following his match with NXT UK star Ashton Smith. That in itself doesn’t sound too notable, seeing as the two are set to square off at Fear & Loathing XI on December 2nd. What makes it newsworthy though is the fact that Polo has now ditched the Just Justice schtick – the hat, the jacket, the accent. It’s all gone. The real Jackie Polo has returned, which spells nothing but trouble.

The Real Jackie Polo Is Back in ICW

He and Lionheart reignited their rivalry this past February following a confrontation in the Square Go! Match. Jackie was actually about to retire the following night, later deciding not to do so as ICW head honcho Mark Dallas pleaded for Polo/Lionheart II at Barramania 4. That match at the end of April saw Polo enter dressed from head to toe in a Jeff Jarrett-inspired outfit as JJJP – “Just Justice” Jackie Polo. After going 2-0 against Lionheart, a third bout was announced for Shug’s Hoose Party 5 Night 2 at the end of July – Lionheart finally got one over on Just Justice. But crucially, he hadn’t defeated Jackie Polo.

In the words of Polo towards Lionheart – “You’ve never beaten Jackie Polo once in your life!”.

Now that the real Jackie Polo is back on the go with the World Heavyweight Championship around his waist, what does this mean for his Title vs Career Match against Lionheart at the SSE Hydro on December 2nd?
