West Coast Indie Stars Make WWE Debut As Bryant Brothers

During the MizTV segment of Tuesday night’s SmackDown Live, The Miz threw an impromptu tag match with himself and Shane McMahon teaming against a team of “local wrestlers” that was clearly supposed to provide an easy win for The Miz in his tag team debut with Shane-O-Mac. The team that came out was a team called “The Bryant Brothers“, who took advantage of a miscommunication between Miz and McMahon, scoring the pinfall on the Miz. The Bryan Brothers were portrayed by two West Coast indie stars, in Eli Everfly and Keita Murray.

LA native Eli Everfly has been wrestling on the West Coast circuit since 2013, a product of the Santino Bros Wrestling School, who worked with Empire Wrestling Federation (EWF), Championship Wrestling From Hollywood, and others. Last year, he debuted with PCW ULTRA, Bar Wrestling, and Game Changer Wrestling (GCW), which really upped his profile on the US indie scene. A gifted aerialist, he’s also part of the tag team DoomFly with Delilah Doom.

KEITA MURRAY

“All That” Keita Murray started out in the Pennsylvania indies in 2014, but has since moved to the West Coast, working with Supreme Pro Wrestling (SPW), Maverick Pro, and others. Murray actually made another WWE appearance over the weekend, working against Lars Sullivan in a match filmed prior to NXT TakeOver: War Games II.
