Molly Holly Reportedly Added To WWE Evolution

Former WWE superstar Molly Holly has reportedly been confirmed for WWE Evolution, in a report from PWInsider‘s Mike Johnson, however, it’s currently unclear in what capacity she’ll serve, as she currently hasn’t been announced for a specific match.

Molly Holly is best known for working with WWE between 2000 and 2005, where she served as the on-screen cousin of Hardcore (Bob) Holly and Crash Holly. Despite working in a managers role with both, she received significant singles success with the company; she won the Women’s Championship on a number of occasions, and had a high profile feud with Trish Stratus.

Since departing WWE in 2005, she’s distanced herself from pro wrestling (although she began working as a trainer at Ken Anderson and Shawn Daivari’s wrestling school, The Academy, in Minnesota in 2016). She’s also made sporadic WWE appearances over the past decade, such as appearing on Raw’s 15th Anniversary, and in a women’s battle royale at Wrestlemania XXV. She had her first match in a decade at this past CHIKARA King of Trios, where she was part of a team alongside Solo Darling and Aja Perera.

Reports of Molly Holly‘s appearance at WWE Evolution have surfaced at the same time that Ivory was reportedly confirmed for the pay-per-view. However, it’s currently not known what role either of them will play in the show. WWE Evolution is the companies first ever all women pay-per-view and is set to take place on October 28.

It was first speculated that Ivory could be having a match with Bayley; however, up until now, these were just rumours, although it now looks like it might be true. Despite reports that Ivory will be there, we still have to wait until official confirmation of her match.
