Former Knockouts Champion Sienna Departs Impact Wrestling

Several days ago, many fans noticed that former 2x Knockouts Champion Sienna‘s profile was moved from the active roster for the Knockouts Division to the Impact Wrestling Alumni page. No official comment was given by either side, but Squared Circle Sirens is reporting that her current contract has expired and so far, she has not re-signed with the company. Sienna has not appeared for the company since the January tapings, when she went to the hospital for what she thought was a ribs issue, but it turned out she had blood clots in her lungs. Her last match this year was on January 14 against Allie (which aired in March) at the Impact tapings in Orlando. During the past few months, she’s taken a role as color commentator for RISE Wrestling while she’s out of action.

Also known on the independents as Allysin Kay, she made her debut in 2010, starting out in the Ohio area with the likes of Absolute Intense Wrestling (AIW). Her 713 day reign as AIW Women’s Champion is still the company’s longest reign for the Women’s championship. It wasn’t long before she was working for women’s promotions like SHIMMER, SHINE, and Women Superstars Uncensored (WSU), as well as the likes of Beyond Wrestling, All American Wrestling (AAW), Smash Wrestling, and many more. In 2013, she did a tour of Japan, performing for DIANA and Sendai Girls. She debuted with Impact in 2016, first under Allysin Kay in two One Night Only specials, before signing with the company and debuting in April of 2016 as Sienna, where she became part of Maria Kanellis‘ faction.
