Parks got his start in 2000 as a student of the legendary Les Thatcher with Heartland Wrestling Association (HWA) in Ohio, where he was a 2x HWA Heavyweight Champion, HWA Cruiserweight Champion and HWA Tag Team Champion. The 38-year old Buffalo, New York native has also spent the better part of the past eight years working with his hometown promotion Empire State Wrestling (ESW), where he’s also one of the promotions trainers. He’s also competed for the likes of CZW, Ring of Honor, MCW Pro, as well as Canada’s Smash Wrestling, where he’s currently one half of the Smash Tag Team Champions, The Well Oiled Machines, with “Psycho Mike” Rollins. His real life wife Allie still remains with Impact Wrestling as one of the top stars of the company.

Alongside their own stellar coaching staff, the WWE Performance Center routinely brings in guest coaches for week long stints, many of whom end up with full time jobs with the company, like Serena Deeb, Johnny Moss, Johnny Saint and Steve Corino. Other guest coaches have included CHIKARA‘s Mike Quackenbush, former Ring of Honor manager Truth Martini, former ECW Superstar Jerry Lynn, and The Outsiders, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall.
