Last night at EVOLVE 106 in New York City, Joey Janela stunned the world with a huge victory over Austin Theory to become the new WWN Champion.

Joey Janela Wins WWN Championship

The WWN Championship is the main world title amongst the WWN family of brands, that includes EVOLVE, Full Impact Pro (FIP) and others – Austin Theory held the title for 79 days, after defeating defeating Keith Lee for the title at EVOLVE 103 in a title vs title match over WrestleMania weekend (Theory is the reigning FIP World Heavyweight Champion). It also marks Joey Janela’s first major singles championship, as he’s most notably won secondary titles throughout his career, such as being a 4x CZW Wired Champion, A1 Outer Limits Champion, 3x National Wrestling Superstars (NWS) Cruiserweight Champion. He’s also the current reigning Absolute Intense Wrestling (AIW) Intense Champion.
