Returns, Debuts And More At ICW Barramania 4

ICW Barramania 4 proved to be a noteworthy night for the Scottish promotion. The show has saw the return of a former World Heavyweight Champion, the debuts of two new faces, and the unveiling of a new client to a top stable, not to mention the crowning of a new ICW World Champion and Zero-G Champion.

Former ICW World Heavyweight Champion, Joe Coffey made a surprise return to the promotion. He confronted his brother Mark after he became a three-time Zero-G Champion in the opening match of the night. The Iron Man has been gone from ICW since losing the World Heavyweight Championship to BT Gunn at Fear and Loathing X last November. He has now apparently set his sights on the Zero-G Championship, a title he has never held in his career.

Dave Conrad made his ICW debut under the ring name ‘Bantz‘. Although he may be an unknown entity to many, Conrad has made a name for himself on the Scottish indy scene, competing for promotions like Discovery Wrestling and Reckless Intent Wrestling. The “One True Alpha” made his presence felt after Chris Renfrew had defeated Joe Hendry to end their 76-day long Falls Count Anywhere Match, where he assaulted referee Kieran Kelly. Conrad appears to have aligned himself with Joe Hendry and Leyton Buzzard, likely to protect Hendry from further attacks by Renfrew or anyone else.

Before the Fatal Four Way Tag Team Championships Match, Rory Coyle announced that the newest member of The Sons of Ulaid was Screwface. Screwface comes in place of Rory’s usual partner Bás Bán. Despite the surprise partner, The Sons of Ulaid were unsuccessful in winning the titles, with The Kinky Party retaining.

During the show, it was revealed that WALTER will be making his ICW debut on Saturday, July 28th at The O2 ABC in Glasgow for night one of Shug’s Hoose Party 5. No word yet on who he’ll be going up against.

After losing a Ladder Match, Kenny Williams was forced to leave Insane Championship Wrestling. After delivering his farewell speech, Kenny was greeted by best friend Aaron Echo before kicking him below the belt. The former three-time Zero-G Champion was then revealed to be the newest client signed to Red Lightning’s RUDO Sports and Entertainment Brand.

During a tag team match, James Storm turned on partner Ravie Davie by smashing a beer bottle over him, allowing Bram and Iestyn Rees to come out on top. The Cowboy attacked Davie and Cousin Zander further after the match and also spat in the face of ICW owner Mark Dallas.

Barramania 4 will be available to watch on ICW On Demand from Monday, April 30th.
