Two More Are ALL IN as Kazuchika Okada & Deonna Purrazzo Are Announced

With a date and venue firmly secured for their indie supershow ALL IN, Cody Rhodes and the Jackson brothers Matt & Nick (The Young Bucks) made two more announcements tonight for the show running September 1, 2018 at Sears Center Arena in Chicago.

Kazuchika Okada & Deonna Purrazzo Announced For All In

It was only a matter of time before NJPW names would be added to ALL IN, but they started off with a bombshell. The current reigning IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada is one of the biggest stars in the world of professional wrestling right now, with a pedigree of matchups over the past few years that could fill a vault. His current reign (his fourth) is sitting at 660 days, nearing almost 200 days longer than the next longest reign of 489 days, set by Shinya Hashimoto back in 1996 through 1997.

Ring of Honor’s Deonna Purrazzo is the second women’s wrestler added to the card for ALL IN, joining Tessa Blanchard. Purrazzo has become one of the emerging leaders of the next wave of great women’s indie wrestlers, making the Quarter Finals for the recent Women of Honor Championship Tournament before bowing out to Stardom‘s Mayu Iwatani. She’s also worked for NXT, WWE, Impact Wrestling, PROGRESS, SHIMMER, WrestleCircus, RevPro, the list goes on.

Okada and Purrazzo join a list of already confirmed names for ALL IN, featuring Cody Rhodes, The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, “The Villain” Marty Scurll, Hangman Page, Penta El 0M, Rey Fenix, Tessa Blanchard and Arrow star Stephen Amell.
