#AndNEW: Candy Cartwright Wins SHINE Nova Championship

At last night’s SHINE 49, Candy Cartwright defeated Priscilla Kelly to become the new SHINE Nova Champion, ending Kelly’s 237 day reign as SHINE’s secondary singles champion. Priscilla Kelly had won the inaugural championship tournament to crown the first ever Nova Champion at SHINE 44 last July, ironically against the very woman who won the title last night. Kelly defended the title several times over the past year, in both SHINE and other promotions, against the likes of Santana Garrett, Jordynne Grace and Stormie Lee.
