Best Player Props NFL Week 3 – AFC Edition

Keenan Allen Over Receiving Yards

The line is set at [metabet_core_dynamic_odds market=”fbp/nfl_game_player_receiving_yards/535927″ query=”nfl/keenan_allen/player_1374″ site_id=”lastwordonsports”]. What are books seeing that fans aren’t? He crushed this line last week. It might be boring to recommend the same thing two weeks in a row but Keenan Allen has hit this mark every game for the last three games, and nine of the last ten.

To make matters worse, he plays in one of the highest O/Us of the week against the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings have given up some of the most yards to Wide Receivers through two weeks, and they played Baker Mayfield Week 1. Smash the over on all Chargers players, but specifically Keenan Allen.

Gus Edwards Anytime Touchdown

There was a time when Justice Hill was the back to have in Baltimore. That lasted about eight seconds as he is now popping up on the injury report. Edwards profiles better as the goal-line back (despite Hill having more goal-line carries Week 1) and if Hill is even slightly banged up Edwards will get the carries.

Indianapolis has been a stout defense against the run thus far, but that’s really just because they’ve been atrocious against the pass. All it takes is one goal-line opportunity to get Gus in, and the Ravens should be able to move the ball at ease against this team. He’s currently [metabet_core_dynamic_odds market=”fbp/nfl_game_player_score_touchdown/535931″ query=”nfl/gus_edwards/player_90004″ site_id=”lastwordonsports”] to score against the Colts.

Jerome Ford Longest Rush

Even after only playing 50% of snaps against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Jerome Ford busted out a 69-yard run. Kareem Hunt has been added to the team but will likely only steal passing down work. He only needs to hit [metabet_core_dynamic_odds market=”fbp/nfl_game_player_rushing_long/535923″ query=”nfl/jerome_ford/player_90528″ site_id=”lastwordonsports”] yards on one run. He’s shown the explosion already and should get a higher share of the rushes in Week 3.

The Tennessee Titans have a formidable defensive front, but the Browns offensive line is a force to be reckoned with. Dawand Jones may be the steal of the 2023 NFL Draft, and he had a solid PFF grade in Week 3 despite matching up with T.J. Watt for most of the game.

Patrick Mahomes Over Rushing Yards

This has to be one of the best player props for NFL Week 3. Patrick Mahomes is known for being the best player in the NFL, but it’s not just his arm. His rushing yards line is set at [metabet_core_dynamic_odds market=”fbp/nfl_game_player_rushing_yards/535933″ query=”nfl/patrick_mahomes/player_65563″ site_id=”lastwordonsports”], which he’s hit in 12 of his 17 last games. Considering a majority of those came with a busted ankle, Mahomes should be locked in to hit over 20 yards.

The Bears defense is the opposite of a problem. There’s a very good chance this game turns into a blowout, and they are not going to account for every aspect of Mahomes’ game. Whether it’s just a little scamper or a couple of shorter runs, Mahomes is going to be a nightmare for the Bears.
