1. Dallas Cowboys
Don’t look now, but the Dallas Cowboys are within striking distance of the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC East. While the reigning Super Bowl champions are still the odds-on favorite to win the division, Dallas is only 1.5 games back and is playing some of their best football, while the Eagles are beginning to unravel. Dak Prescott is playing some of his best football, and the defense has gone from atrocious to slightly below-average since acquiring defensive tackle Quinnen Williams. The Cowboys are very much alive in the playoff race, and Kyzir White could help them over the final month of the season.
The Cowboys spent the offseason cycling through linebackers and have yet to find an average starter. The Kenneth Murray experiment is an outright disaster, so the team might as well look at another former Titans linebacker. White may not make anyone forget about the great Cowboys linebackers of the late 2010s, but he can help stabilize the position.
