3. Los Angeles Chargers
The offensive line was supposed to be a strength for the Los Angeles Chargers, but injuries ruined that plan early in the season. While star tackle Joe Alt is back, Rashawn Slater is done for the year, and guard Mekhi Becton is battling an injury of his own. Even when the guards are healthy, Zion Johnson, Jamaree Salyer, and Becton are all having poor seasons and not playing up to their respective contracts.
The Chargers have good weapons, but head coach Jim Harbaugh believes games are won and lost in the trenches. While most analysts think they’ll trade for a running back, Kevin Zeitler could probably provide more help for this team.
