3. Kansas City Chiefs
After a slow start to the season, the Kansas City Chiefs are back to looking like their unstoppable selves. While the passing game remains one of the best in the league, the rushing attack could use some work. Veteran Isiah Pacheco wasn’t all that effective when healthy, and the former seventh-round pick is currently battling injuries. This leaves the well past his prime Kareem Hunt and untested rookie Brashard Smith leading the backfield, and that’s simply not a good enough duo for a championship contender.
A Breece Hall trade would give Andy Reid his best running back since prime Kareem Hunt. Reid’s offense used to be synonymous with a workhorse three-down back, but he hasn’t had anyone capable of filling that role in half a decade. Hall is talented enough to handle that workload and could bring a long-absent part of this offense back to the field.
