Broncos Receiver Trade

Top Denver Broncos Wide Receiver Trade Targets, Ranked

2. Jakobi Meyers, Raiders

On paper, Jakobi Meyers is a perfect fit for Bo Nix and Sean Payton. Payton loves players who can consistently get open and efficiently move the sticks, and Meyers excels at those aspects of the game. While he’s nothing special after the catch and won’t stretch the field, Jakobi Meyers excels at creating quick separation and could be the go-to third-down target for this offense. Nobody should expect Michael Thomas’ numbers out of Meyers, but he could put up a career year with Payton.

The only question is whether or not the Raiders would trade their best wide receiver to a division rival like the Broncos. The Raiders season is effectively over, but nobody likes to make a division rival better. Perhaps a deal could get done if Denver outbids the competition, but one must imagine that a tie goes to a team like the New England Patriots or Pittsburgh Steelers.
