3. Carolina Panthers
The Carolina Panthers are riding a three-game winning streak and currently sit just one game out of first in the NFC South. While Bryce Young’s injury will sideline him for a few weeks, veteran quarterback Andy Dalton is more than capable of keeping this ship afloat. This team should have legitimate postseason aspirations, and a Bradley Chubb trade should increase their odds of playing meaningful January football.
Carolina has a young defensive line led by second-round rookie Nic Scourton. While the rookie has played well, the rest of the players on the depth chart are either still adapting to life in the NFL or are unremarkable journeymen. Bradley Chubb may not be the player he was at the peak of his career, but the trade target should increase the overall talent in the room while providing veteran leadership for the younger players.
