San Francisco 49ers Record Prediction: Every Game on the Schedule

Week 1: At Steelers

Brock Purdy likely won’t be ready for week one. This leaves the team in quarterback turmoil for week one, and they won’t be able to overcome it.

49ers Lose, Record 0-1

Week 2: At Rams

For the turmoil that the 49ers have, the Rams are somehow worse. Their team is in shambles, and the 49ers should be able to run away with this one.

49ers Win, Record 1-1

Week 3: Vs Giants

Even with the Brian Daboll effect, the Giants are just a middling team in the NFC. Christian McCaffrey three touchdowns in week three for the win.

49ers Win, Record 2-1

Week 4: Vs Cardinals

Is anyone worried about this one? Not much to say, the Cardinals are already looking to 2024. 49ers by 49.

49ers Win, Record 3-1

Week 5: Vs Cowboys

In May, the Cowboys are the best team in America. Every year. In October, not so much. They added some weapons, but their defense won’t be able to slow down George Kittle.

49ers Win, Record 4-1

Week 6: At Browns

The Browns aren’t the same team they were five years ago, where this would be an easy win. Their running game is impressive with Nick Chubb, but they still won’t be able to keep up. Hard fought win.

49ers Win, Record 5-1

Week 7: At Vikings

This is bad news for Vikings fans. It’s Kirk Cousins on Monday night football. He is 2-10 on Monday nights, and will be 2-11 after this.

49ers Win, Record 6-1

Week 8: Vs Bengals

Joe Burrow is electric, and their team matches up well against the 49ers. Mike Hilton as a nickel corner should be able to keep up with some of the weapons, and if the quarterback situation isn’t resolved by here, it’s the first true test. Close one, but a loss.

49ers Lose, Record 6-2

Week 10: At Jaguars

Another team that in years past was an easy win. Now, it’s going to be a battle from beginning to end. The homefield advantage might be too much to handle.

49ers Lose, Record 6-3

Week 11: Vs Buccaneers

While the 49ers have to decide between Trey Lance, Brock Purdy and Sam Darnold the Buccaneers have to choose between Kyle Trask and Baker Mayfield. Yikes. The NFC South is a mess and this is an easy win.

49ers Win, Record 7-3

Week 12: At Seahawks

This could very well be the top two teams in the division. The 49ers swept the Seahawks last year, but this year it won’t be as easy. Seahawks squeak this one out.

49ers Lose, Record 7-4

Week 13: At Eagles

If the NFC Championship was any indicator, this will be tough. At this point in the season, the 49ers should be rolling and gelling effectively. Everyone is betting on the Eagles here, but the 49ers pull off the upset.

49ers Win, Record 8-4

Week 14: Vs Seahawks

A divisional opponent two times in three weeks is tough. Luckily, the 49ers are at home this time and fresh off of the confidence booster in Philly. 49ers by five.

49ers Win, Record 9-4

Week 15: At Cardinals

The 49ers could play this game in Arizona, in London, on the moon, it doesn’t matter. 49ers by 100.

49ers Win, Record 10-4

Week 16: Vs Ravens

Teams flying from the east coast to the west coast normally struggle, and adding on the Christmas element makes it a fun one. Should be a great game, but the 49ers can sneak out with a win.

49ers Win, Record 11-4

Week 17: At Commanders

There is a very good chance at this point in the season the Commanders have their eyes on 2024. If that’s the case, this is an easy win.

49ers Win, Record 12-4

Week 18: Vs Rams

The 49ers at this point could have their playoff position locked, and look to rest starters. While even the 49ers backups can give the Rams starters a run for their money, they lose a meaningless game to close the season.

49ers Lose, Record 12-5
