Minnesota Wild vs Chicago Blackhawks

2024-25 Season Series: Wild 3-1 Blackhawks

How to Watch:

U.S. TV: Hulu; ESPN+

Time: 8:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EDT)

Our last game of NHL predictions is a Central Division battle between the Minnesota Wild and the Chicago Blackhawks. Minnesota is projected to give the start to Filip Gustavsson, who is 6-7-2 so far this season. The Wild are 8-1-1 in the last 10 games, including five straight victories. Kirill Kaprizov is tied with Matt Boldy for the team’s lead in goals with 13, but Kaprizov is tops in assists (14) and points (27).

Spencer Knight is expected starter for the Blackhawks, who are 5-4-1 in the last 10 games entering this contest. However, Chicago has dropped its last three consecutive games. The Blackhawks are a top 10 team on the penalty kill and the power play. Connor Bedard is leading in all offensive categories like goals (13), assists (18), and points (31).

The Wild are coming into the game on a hot streak. That should continue against an improved Blackhawks team.

Prediction: Wild win 4-2.

Prop Bets of the Night

We close out NHL predictions with our prop bets of the night. Let’s go back to our featured game for our preferred props. The over/under for the Jets versus the Capitals is 6.5, and we like the under in this game.

As for individual props, go with Josh Morrissey to get an assist in this game for Winnipeg. On the Washington side of things, take Alex Ovechkin to get an anytime goal.
