We open up NHL predictions with the Seattle Kraken visiting the Detroit Red Wings. Seattle is expected to start Philipp Grubauer in goal, but always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. The Kraken are 5-3-2 in the last 10 games, including wins in their last two games. Jaden Schwartz and Jordan Eberle are tied for the team’s lead in goals with seven.

John Gibson is projected to get the start for Detroit, which is 5-4-1 in the last 10 games. The Red Wings edged the New York Rangers, 2-1, on Sunday night. Dylan Larkin is off to a great start with 11 goals and 11 assists for 22 points. Lucas Raymond is tops in assists on the team with 15.

Both teams are looking to keep the momentum going. However, Detroit has won its last three games versus Seattle.

Prediction: Red Wings win 4-3.
