How to Watch:

U.S. TV: MSG 2; Fan Duel Sports South; ESPN+

Time: 7 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EDT)

Our next game of NHL predictions is a Metropolitan Division matchup between the New York Rangers and the Carolina Hurricanes. Igor Shesterkin is the likely starter for the Rangers, who lost four straight before beating the St Louis Blues Monday night. New York is 5-5 in the last 10 games entering this divisional game. Artemin Panarin is tops in assists (14) and points (20) so far for the Blueshirts.

Frederik Andersen is the projected starter for the Hurricanes, who are 6-2-2 in the last 10 games. However, Carolina is coming off an upset loss to the Buffalo Sabres on Sunday. The Hurricanes are third in goals scored with an average of 3.5 per game. Sebastian Aho is leading in assists (13) and points (21) so far, while Seth Jarvis leads in goals with 11.

The Rangers are a better road team than they are at MSG. However, the Hurricanes will get the victory.

Prediction: Hurricanes win 3-2.
