Impact Dalibor Dvorsky Signing

Dvorsky has good size for his age at 6-foot, 1-inch and 201 pounds. He’s a big body that has used his size well in international play. He’ll play for IK Oskarshamn of the Swedish Hockey League next season. Playing in Sweden will give him time to develop and round out his game some more.

The young Slovak is also ahead of the curve so far when it comes to his defensive game. He’s got good sense on the defensive end for his age and can help apply defensive pressure. Dvrosky is also adept at being able to help down-low with his defensive game.

The Blues are hoping that Dvorsky can be one of the top young pieces to help rebuild the team’s prospect pool. There’s a lot of promise with him, but he may take a couple of years before he challenge for a roster spot.
