Arsenal Team News

During the pre-match press conference, Mikel Arteta was asked whether there were any fresh injury concerns, and he said “no,” which will be music to the ears of Arsenal fans.

The Gunners boss was also asked if Martin Odegaard and Leandro Trossard could be available: “We’ll see; we will have to wait and see and speak to the doctors on whether they are involved or not.”

He was also asked if it’s difficult not to think about the quadruple: “Not think about it? Not really. I mean, if you’re in our seat from competition to competition, we’re going to play in seven days in three different competitions. So that drags you from one to another, the urgency to get prepared, to translate the messages that you want, to make the right decisions and to make sure that we arrive into any game in the best possible way, it’s enough, and the rest is a consequence of that process and how well we do it, which is still very far.”

Everton Team News

During his pre-match press conference, David Moyes confirmed there is “nothing new” to report regarding team news. The Toffees gaffer did say he expects Jarrad Branthwaite “will be ok” for the trip to North London.

Delving further into Branthwaite’s fitness: “There is times where you have to look after the players. I think the time of Jarrad’s injury, the length of his injury meant that we were always going to have to be mindful of it. But, he plays a big part, he’s a really good player. We want him fit for every game, but we’ve also just got to take some advice at different times,” said Moyes.
