After a nearly two-week break, Manchester United return to action against Everton on Monday night. After disappointment against West Ham, where the Reds failed to extend their winning run to five on the bounce under Michael Carrick, they will be looking to get back to winning ways in this one. Here is our Manchester United predicted lineup and the latest team news for the clash with Everton in the Premier League.

How Manchester United Have Lined Up Recently
Since Michael Carrick took control at Manchester United, his starting XI has seen only one change.
Senne Lammens has locked down his place in goal. The back line has seen Diogo Dalot, Harry Maguire, Lisandro Martinez and Luke Shaw as a constant. Maguire was taken off after 68 minutes and replaced by Lenny Yoro against West Ham, and Dalot was replaced by Joshua Zirkzee in an attempt to go more attacking and get something out of the game.

Carrick has reverted to a midfield two of Casemiro and Kobbie Mainoo, both of whom have been in excellent form since becoming a regular pairing.
Amad Diallo, Matheus Cunha and Bruno Fernandes started as a fluid front three with Bryan Mbuemo featuring in the striker position. Benjamin Sesko replaced Cunha against West Ham, and for the second time under Carrick, scored a goal in added time.
Manchester United Team News
Michael Carrick spoke to the press on Friday afternoon ahead of his side’s trip to Everton on Monday evening. Despite having an extended break, Manchester United are still struggling with the same injuries they had ahead of their visit to West Ham.
Mason Mount remains out of action, although Carrick did state that he is “getting closer”; however, he stressed that “we don’t want to push anything”. Mount hasn’t featured since playing a single minute against Manchester City in Carrick’s first game in charge.

Carrick also hasn’t had the luxury of playing Matthijs de Ligt, as the Dutchman remains out of action ahead of Monday’s fixture. He’s been suffering from a suspected back injury and hasn’t played since the end of November. The United interim coach noted that he is working towards getting back into the frame; however, he is slightly behind Mount regarding a return.
Despite concerns that Harry Maguire was suffering from a knock at West Ham, Carrick didn’t mention that the former United captain was injured, and therefore, we can predict that he will maintain his place in the starting XI on Monday evening.
Patrick Dorgu remains out.
