Bruno Fernandes gives honest assessment of Michael Carrick

After Ruben Amorim’s departure as Manchester United manager, it was difficult to see a positive end to the season, but the appointment of Michael Carrick as interim head coach until the end of the 2025/26 season has proved a master stroke so far, with the Red Devils winning all four games, which has seen them climb to fourth in the Premier League.

Following their 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur, Bruno Fernandes spoke to TNT Sports and gave his honest assessment of Michael Carrick.

It remains to be seen what the rest of the season has in store for Manchester United, but the start under Michael Carrick couldn’t have got any better, and if Fernandes’ words are anything to go by, the players are behind the interim head coach.
