Everton ended the transfer window with one new signing, 19-year-old Tyrique George from Chelsea. George is on loan until the end of the season with the option to buy in the summer. George Joins Amid Grealish Uncertainty
Everton will hope that the new signing could be a natural replacement for Jack Grealish, who is out for a lengthy period of time due to a foot fracture.
George joined Chelsea as an under 8, and has progressed through the ranks to make 37 first team appearances, 11 of them being in the first half of this season, and scoring six goals.

The signing will hopefully increase the energy on the park, with the 19-year-old displaying skill and pace, as well as being able to play across the final third. His play will increase Everton’s attacking threat, with more crosses put into the box, giving Beto and Thierno Barry more chances at goal.
George also appears to be a player full of ambition, with a determination to prove to manager David Moyes that he belongs in the starting lineup.

Moyes has inherited a young and enthusiastic player, who will hopefully give Everton the boost they need to go out, create meaningful chances on the pitch, and win comfortably.

In his interview with evertontv, George pointed out a huge reason he wanted to join the club was to work under David Moyes, saying: “He’s an amazing manager who has coached so many players, like Wayne Rooney, and players like that. I’ve had a brief conversation with him and he’s an amazing person as well.
“I just want to enjoy it, learn under him and improve.”
