As for West Brom, they’re without a win in five following a 1-0 loss at Charlton on Tuesday night. Ryan Mason’s side have lost three of those four games, with the other result being a goalless draw at home against Sheffield Wednesday.
The Baggies only have two wins at the Hawthorns this season but have also lost just once on home soil, with the other three games ending in a draw. Only three teams have scored fewer goals than West Brom in the league this season, with 12 from 14 games.
Jack Currie missed the game against Stoke and joins Brodie Spencer and former Baggies midfielder Matt Phillips on the sidelines. Ole Romeny made his return to the club as a second-half substitute.
West Brom are without Toby Collyer, Jayson Molumby and Jed Wallace for this fixture. Isaac Price is the top scorer with five but hasn’t found the net in three.
Oxford lost this fixture 2-0 last season, having scored a last-minute equaliser in the reverse fixture at Grenoble Road earlier in the campaign. The U’s haven’t beaten the Baggies in their last four meetings, with their last victory at the Hawthorns coming in 1997.
Gary Rowett has just two wins from nine meetings against West Brom. The U’s boss is also yet to win at the Hawthorns in five attempts.
