Arsenal Predicted Lineup vs Crystal Palace

How Arsenal Have Lined Up Recently

Mikel Arteta has mostly stayed loyal to his favoured 4-3-3 formation, as they did against Madrid in the Champions League. David Raya started in goal, with a  back four of Jurrien Timber, William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes, and Myles Lewis-Skelly. This defensive unit continues to impress, with plenty of clean sheets.

Arsenal’s Recent Form

Arsenal are nine games unbeaten since their 1-0 defeat to Liverpool on August 31. They’ve recorded eight wins and a draw in that run of games, showing both defensive steel and attacking flair.

Despite suffering key injuries, the summer recruits have given Arsenal strength in depth, enabling them to maintain their great form.

The fixtures are beginning to pile up for Mikel Arteta’s men, but with key players due back, Arsenal look in good shape.

Arsenal Injury News

At the pre-match press conference, Mikel Arteta revealed the latest team news following the 4-0 win over Atletico Madrid: “Not much, Big Gabi had to leave the pitch with an issue and he hasn’t been able to train yet, so let’s see how he evolves in the next 24 hours to see whether he’s available or not for the weekend.”

Updating everyone on the long-term absentees (Madueke, Odegaard, Havertz and Jesus), Arteta said:

“They are progressing really well. They are starting to do certain activities. They are all super willing to be available as quickly as possible, but at the moment, none of them are in contention in the next week or so.”
