Despite this, the Old Lady are said to be optimistic about renewing the player’s contract. Their main aim is to get a commitment to fend off any interest in such a key player. Because of this, they’re eager to reach an agreement as soon as possible to settle any rumours.

What He Could Offer

Described by others as a “perfect Cole Palmer complement” he is a right-footer who can occupy the left-half space around the box while Palmer tends to occupy the right-half space. From there, he has already managed to contribute three assists in the league in just five appearances this season.

His ability to take on defenders and create is his best attribute, its a perfect match for the Englishman who is a dangerous dribbler as well as a passer. Where Yildiz excels is his ability to get things done in all areas, he’s a decent passer, progressive carrier, tackler, and can pop a shot off when needed.

Should he be picked up he would likely flourish under Enzo Maresca who is always aiming to find ways to take the pressure off of Palmer by occupying the space around the box, the Juventus man would be a more rounded and efficient player in this space than either Enzo Fernandez or Joao Pedro.
