Chelsea Team News
Robert Sanchez starts in goal with Jorrel Hato, Trevoh Chalobah, Tosin Adarabioyo, and a returning Wesley Fofana in the back line. Moises Caicedo partners Enzo Fernandez in midfield as Pedro Neto, Jamie Gittens, and Facundo Buonanotte support Joao Pedro as the striker.
Notable Changes
A lot of changes and some big surprises. Both full-backs are new as Hato and Fofana make first starts of the season, Caicedo surprisingly keeps his spot despite arriving back late for international duty. Estevao isn’t in the squad at all after being away with Brazil which opens a spot for Gittens. Buonanotte starts as Cole Palmer makes the bench due to his groin injury and Pedro is moved forward due to Liam Delap’s injury.

Caoimhin Kelleher starts in goal with a back line of Michael Kayode,Sepp Van Den Berg, Nathan Collins, Ethan Pinnock, and Jeane Lewis Potter. Jordan Henderson is in midfield with Yehor Yarmoliuk and Mathias Jensen. Kevin Schade is up front with Igor Thiago.
Notable Changes
It looks like a switch to a back five with Collins, Van Den Berg, and Pinnock used to shore things up while Thiago and Schade lead the breaks as a duo.
