How Wolves Have Lined Up Recently

In recent fixtures, Wolves have deployed a 3-4-2-1 formation under Victor Pereira. This setup emphasises a solid defensive structure complemented by a dynamic attacking trio. In Wolves’ last match, a 2-1 defeat to Liverpool in the Premier League, they went with José Sá in goal, a back three of Matt Doherty, Emmanuel Agbadou, and Toti Gomes.

Wolves Recent Form And Tactics

Wolves’ form has been on the upturn after back-to-back 2-0 wins and a strong showing in defeat against Liverpool on February 16. Wolves will be hoping to pick up points against Bournemouth to distance themselves from the chasing pack in the relegation zone.

Wolves have predominantly employed a 3-4-2-1 formation, relying on João Gomes and André to control the midfield while Matheus Cunha remains the focal point in attack. They have shown defensive discipline in defensive transitions but often struggle for creativity in the final third, relying on quick counters rather than sustained possession.

Injuries To Consider

Emmanuel Agbadou was subbed off in the 61st minute with a suspected hamstring injury during the Liverpool game. Reports from the Express & Star Suggest that Agbadou will be out for 3-4 weeks. Hwang Hee-Chan, Boubacar Traore, Rodrigo Gomes, Enso Gonzalez, Sasa Kalajdzic, Yerson Mosquera, and Leon Chiwome remain on the sidelines with injuries. Jorgen Strand Larsen is expected to return.
