How Liverpool Have Lined-up Recently
Alisson Becker is Arne Slot’s first-choice goalkeeper with Caoimhin Kelleher the back-up in domestic cup competitions. Kostas Tsimikas and Andy Robertson have rotated in recent weeks at left-back; a similar thing can be said for Trent Alexander-Arnold and Conor Bradley on the right-hand-side. Ibrahima Konate and Virgil van Dijk are the centre-back pairing.

Ryan Gravenberch and Alexis Mac Allister usually pair in central midfield, though the Argentinian was rested for Curtis Jones in midweek. Dominik Szoboszlai is Slot’s attacking midfielder.

Meanwhile, Diogo Jota picked up a “niggle” against Nottingham Forest. Slot revealed that both players will be out for weeks rather than months, with the Portuguese likely to return before the Englishman.
