How Chelsea Have Lined Up Recently

In attack, Cole Palmer, Nicolas Jackson, Pedro Neto, and Jadon Sancho have been the preferred attacking unit. Joao Felix, Noni Madueke, and Christopher Nkunku came in unsuccessfully for the clash with Ipswich.
Chelsea Recent Form and Tactics
Despite the poor run of form Enzo Maresca has continued to use his 4-2-3-1 into a 3-2-4-1 formation. The main difference is who inverts and to where, recently Cucurella has been inverting into the attacking midfield space which pushed Enzo further back, but the team has used the Spaniard as a second defensive midfielder alongside Caicedo too.
In the Ipswich match, Joao Felix was actually tasked more often than not with tucking in from the left side to play alongside Palmer in the middle with Cucurella almost playing as a left winger.

After an incredible unbeaten run that hit double digits, the Blues have hit quite the bump with a draw against Everton being followed up by defeats against Fulham and the Tractor Boys. The inability to keep clean sheets has finally caught up with the team which had been scoring for fun for most of the campaign.
Chelsea Injuries to Consider
According to Maresca, he will still be without Benoit Badiashile, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, and Wesley Fofana, who could be out for the season. Romeo Lavia is back training but may not be fit to start, meanwhile Aaron Anselmino was recalled from a loan at Boca Juniors but could also be lacking in match sharpness.
