Chelsea Team News

Robert Sanchez starts in goal as many would expect. The back four is made up of Malo Gusto, Tosin Adarabioyo, Levi Colwill, and Axel Disasi. The midfield pairing is Enzo Fernandez alongside Moises Caicedo. Nicolas Jackson is the striker, backed up by Jadon Sancho, Pedro Neto, and Cole Palmer.

On the bench is Filip Jorgensen, Renato Veiga, youngster Josh Acheampong, Cesare Casadei, Noni Madueke, Tyrique George, Joao Felix, Christopher Nkunku, and Marc Guiu.

Notable Changes

The back four is where the interest lies, injuries and suspensions have limited numbers but it will be interesting to see if Coliwll moves to left-back with a central pairing of Tosin and Disasi, or if Gusto is on the left and Disasi starts on the right. The rest of the lineup is as expected with Neto getting his spot back immediately after his suspension.

There’s no room on the bench for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall who could be injured, but likely is out of favour. There’s also no sight of the injured Romeo Lavia despite the manager indicating that he could be ready for some role in this one.
